As I am an explore enthusiastic guy I always don't want to spend my weekends or holidays by setting at home. Due to this kind of attitude, I face so many problems regarding to selection of places and I don't even get enough time to plan a successful trip. Is this the same problem for you? In this case of mine, the zanzari waterfall was a lifesaver solution for me and it can be yours too.
My trip was started on Saturday night. I was chilling with friends and suddenly we decided to go somewhere on Sunday and then we plan to go and watch a zanzari waterfall. Zanzari is situated on the river Vatrak in Dehgam. It is a series of small waterfalls followed by the main waterfall which is about 25 feet high and provides a scenic beauty to the place. For those who like to capture nature on camera, this is the place to be if planning for a day out at a picnic spot near Ahmedabad. A perfect spot to spend your time with friends or family on holidays or weekends.
As the dehgam is not too far from Ahmedabad so were arranged a vehicle and leave to our destination at 5 am. None from us knew the exact route so we followed the google map but due to a lack of availability of the village map we can't find the exact location of a waterfall but fortunately, we were helped by a local villager and we reached to our destination by 7 am.
We parked our vehicle and ran to see the river and believe me it was such a breathtaking view of the river in the morning time. For photography lovers this place was like a haven, we click some pictures and started our 3km long trecking to the waterfall. It was quite easy for youngsters but might be difficult for aged people but don't worry there was a camel ride available and it cost only 100 rs. per person. By the way trecking was fun. Before reaching the falls, we could hear his sound from a distance and it was so satisfying to listen.
Once we reached the main area first we saw the main waterfall(25 feet high) and clicked lots of pics there. Since it was monsoon season so the flow was very fierce and the accident could take place easily there. So rather than going near that waterfall we just took pictures. So after clicking pics, we went to see the series of small waterfalls just a few meters behind the main waterfall. Now, this was the location where we spend time and play. after enjoying there for 3 hr we left the place and came back to our homes with beautiful memories.
:some tips from me:
#If you want to see a waterfall in full flow then you should prefer a monsoon season. As I visited in monsoon, I think at that time a waterfall was at his peak beauty.
#Try to bring water and snacks with you because there was no food stall. However, there is a shelter ran by a local person who sells a water bottle at a double price.
#As that was a great picnic spot, try to reach there as early as possible because after 11 am the place starts getting crowded. and there was a huge issue with parking I mean it will add 3 more kilometers in your walking if you come in the evening time.
